carbon neutral shipping.
Mostly* every order is processed through Sendle, a shipping company that ensures your package has a net zero carbon footprint. This is achieved by purchasing the extra space on other carriers’ trucks and buying carbon offsets for each package. By partnering with Sendle, we are saving 4.7 million rainforest trees, 200 hectares of forestland, and 8,219 acres of forest!
*Sendle has a size limit on packages that currently cannot accommodate larger shipments like paintings.
recycled paper goods.
My apparel hangtags, eco cards, and business cards are made from recycled t-shirt fabric.
water-based ink.
I use a sustainable printing company, Barrel Maker Printing, for all of my printed apparel. They utilize water-based ink, which is an eco-friendly alternative to plastisol (a plastic-based ink). As an added bonus, water-based ink makes for a super soft print with a sophisticated matte finish!
Additionally, the custom stamp I use to mark the outside of my package is water-based.
sustainable packaging.
I am currently packaging most of my products in SMART mailers, which are made from 100% certified recycled material. Smaller goods may be packaged in an Ecoenclose rigid mailer which is made from 100% recycled and 90% post-consumer content and is both recyclable and biodegradable. Pins and stickers are mailed in a Kraft envelope which is compostable. For larger items like prints and paintings, I reuse the original packaging.
I also use Ecoenclose 100% recycled and 20% post-consumer waste tissue paper that is recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable. Any brown tape that you might see on your package is water activated, made with 50% recycled content, and is recyclable and biodegradable.
My shipping materials are unfortunately subject to a lot of change due to availability and shipping costs. I try to keep this page as updated as possible!
